a company with less-than-maximal financial outcome and a way to improve that outcome.

Relevance as Utility

The usefulness of a model2 depends on several factors.

If our goal is to maximize the accuracy with which the model2 describes a specific phenomenon, then the usefulness of the model2 is proportional to its accuracy.
